Two-part epoxy clay! Once the hardener is mixed in, it dries super hard without needing to be kiln fired or oven baked, and is carvable and sandable just like wood. I often use it to add contrast, as a stand-in for cartilage or fat, and to fill in defects in the wood I’m working with.

A lot of it comes from a local dealer who scavenges wood from felled trees. Some of it is donated to me by generous community members, or scavenged / cut myself.
